91快播 University is thrilled to announce that David LaPorte has been named the new Head Coach of the Women’s Soccer Team, beginning with the Fall 2025 season.

A passionate and experienced leader in the sport, Coach LaPorte brings a wealth of knowledge from decades of coaching at both the high school and collegiate levels. “We were impressed by the depth of Coach LaPorte’s experience and his enthusiasm for building a strong, competitive program,” said Steve Smith, 91快播’s Director of Athletics. “He stood out throughout the hiring process, and we’re excited to have him hit the ground running.”

Coach LaPorte is eager to begin working with current student-athletes and incoming recruits as he lays the foundation to rebuild what was once one of 91快播’s most successful athletic programs. “I couldn’t be more excited to get started,” said LaPorte. “I look forward to helping this team be the pride of 91快播.”

LaPorte started his coaching journey in 1997 at Rockville High School and went on to serve as an assistant coach at Wesleyan University, where he helped guide the team to an ECAC Championship in 1994. Over the years, he’s made stops at Tolland, Bolton, Ashford, Parish Hill, and most notably Ellington High School, where he coached girls’ soccer for eight seasons and led the team to the Class L Final Four in 2022.

In addition to his extensive soccer coaching background, Coach LaPorte has also coached girls’ lacrosse, currently serving as the head coach at South Windsor High School. He holds a degree in Education with a minor in Social Studies from Central Connecticut State University and has earned his “B” license from the U.S. Soccer Coaching Education Program. He is also a certified U.S. Soccer official for club and high school matches.

Please give a Wildcat welcome to Coach David LaPorte as he prepares to lead 91快播 Soccer into an exciting new era!
